    Hi,

Appreciate if you could give some advice and recommendations:

For example, from scratch I have imported the “Dispatch” demo from the GP Site Library, and now I’m interested to swap to “Search”.

Please could you confirm, if it will impact SEO, links and site structure in case if I will import new demo from the GP site Library?

I do understand, that it is not recommended to import demo site on existing sites/blogs with content, and it will change styles, fonts… add new plugins and some demo content. I just wonder if it will break my existing links, post or pages, Sitemap and anyhow will impact SEO?

What would you recommend me and in case if changing, what will be the optimal way to avoid issues.

    Many thanks!
    Best Regards
    Yurik

    Hi Yurik,

You could remove the imported site first, this step will remove all the CSS/pages/posts/customizer options from the previous site template. It won’t effect your own content. 🙂

    Hi Ying,

    Thanks for reply!

So, where will be just stiles and options affected (renewed to new template), but all content, media, plugins and links will be not modified/removed?

    Yes that’s correct 🙂

The plugins that were imported with the templates will be disabled but not removed.
