My GeneratePress site is hosted in London and typically loads in less than 400ms within the UK. Does anyone know an easy way to activate a CDN outside the UK only, without slowing the site performance within the UK?

Hi there,
Generally CDN servers use either geolocation routing or IP Anycast ( or something like that ) to handle the remote content delivery. But as the initial request has to be made to the Host server i would ‘assume’ that your host may be able to configure that for you… worth asking them to see if they have that option.
You mean that the host would respond to the CDN’s array of IP addressed requests from within the UK, but not from outside? Wouldn’t that be much easier for the CDN to make available?
