    Hi there,

We’re switching from WooCommerce Subscriptions & Memberships to Outseta. We need to figure out how to lock parts of text in our articles (post).

You can see the setup here: https://orthodoxie.com/lintronisation-de-mgr-justin-eveque-deurope-occidentale-de-leglise-serbe%ef%bf%bc/

We want to hide a block of content (part of the article body) and do something along these lines: the “Log in” and “Subscribe Now” buttons would be shown to all non-logged-in users. The “Subscribe Now” button would be shown to all non-subscribed, but logged-in users.
The whole text of the article will be shown ONLY to logged-in and subscribed users.

To recap: We want to lock the article body (except for the first 50 words) for those who aren’t logged in and subscribed.

Here’s the Webflow help article we consulted, we need something similar: https://go.outseta.com/support/kb/articles/exme0BWV/how-to-show-or-hide-page-elements-from-authenticated-users

Please advise how to set this up.

    Thank you!

    Hi there,

To recap: We want to lock the article body (except for the first 50 words) for those who aren’t logged in and subscribed.

This isn’t something WP supports and GP doesn’t have any built-in option for this.

I would think that Outseta’s support team would be better to answer the question as that article is written by them – if that solution works in a Twenty series WP theme, the exact solution would work in GeneratePress.

Hope this helps and thanks for your understanding.
