[Support request] Optimize load of Google Fonts

Hi there,

Google Pagespeed tells me that Roboto is loaded. But I only use Open Sans on the site. How can that be?

Any other optimization ideas?

Hi there,

Something on your site is loading Roboto with this handle google-fonts-1-css.

I assume it’s a plugin you’re using – if you turn off each plugin one by one, you should find the culprit.

Ah, sorry, I thought it was caused by GeneratePress but in reality it was Elementor.

Is it possible to avoid that the https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans:regular,italic,600,700 file is render blocking? Just to make Google more happy 🙂
