Opening specific sub-menus to the left

I'm having some trouble opening specific sub-menus to the left. I'm using the open-left custom class as suggested in the Navigation Dropdown documentation, but the sub-menu item still opens to the right.

The strange thing is that it used to work before, and I don't think I've made any changes that might affect it.

It's the "Om oss" menu item to the right.

the dropdown looks right, but lower level menu items still opens to the right (in my browser):
