Open off canvas via link in sidebar

Hi, I am looking for a way to add a "link" (i.e. See More) to open the off canvas in desktop mode. Mobile is fine.

Hi Alex,

Unfortunately, the button has to be within the header area to open the off-canvas menu.

Thank you for replying.

I actually want to be able to activate the off canvas on the front end by clicking on a sidebar link. Same function as the hamburger but a text link in a widget for example.

As I replied, it's not possible, the link/button has to be in the header area.
Unless your site is like this: https://gpsites.co/sider/ ,the sidebar you see is actually the header.
