Open-Canvas Menu - Languages

Hello Folks !
Please go to http://www.understand-culture.com ... in the menu choose Countries_Germany_Persuasion. Now click on the menu in the top-right corner. Perfect. The menu tells you precisely where you currently are. No need for ugly breadcrumbs anywhere on the site.
Ok, go back to the page: Germany_Persuasion.
See immediately below the image "de" in red-orange. That is the two-letter designation for Deutschland (Germany). Please click on that. You get the same content on Germany_Persuasion, but in German.
Now click on the menu. It does not open up the off-canvas menu to your current location: Countries_Germany_Persuasion.
I intend to add countries and languages, for example, Countries_France_Persuasion. Below the image will then read "de" and "fr".
Is it possible to set up the off-canvas menu such that no matter what country/language you are in, whenever you open it up you see your current location?
Thanks.
John
Hi there,
how are you creating the translations ?
Hi David,
Yes, these are my/our translations. I tried translation plugins: unstable. I found a simple solution: simply duplicate the page, translate it, link it on the front end.

In your way the WP menu won't link the German version page to the English version page.
I would recommend using a translator plugin like Polylang.
Hi Ying,
Thanks for the recommendation. I will pass, however. As I wrote above my experience with various translations plugins is that they are unstable. I think that I'll take a very pragmatic approach and simply leave it as is. Which means that the off-canvas menu is always in English. That will not be a problem for the users: colleagues from different country-cultures collaborating within cross-border teams and organizations.
Thanks, Ying. Thanks, David.

No problem John :)
