onepage setup active menu item (for active section)

hello everybody,

i am not quite sure, if it can be done with gp-options alone, or if i need a plugin like "page scroll to id":

for a landing-page-navigation with anchor links to sections of this page, how can i set the color of the active section to be highlighted? when i set the color in customizer -> primary navigation -> text current, every item of the navigation gets this color.

i think its a simple task to accomplish, but i didnt figure it out yet how to do it right.
