Old top image won't disappear

Hi, I understood header/top image

(on all pages the bridge at http://www.peter-auf-tour.de)

can't be changed any more by simply replacing it, since you introduced new design with "elements". I was able to generate a new top image with elements and place it between Logo/Peter auf Tour and the menu. The new page hero showed up - but: the old picture (the bridge) did NOT disappear. How can I make this old picture to disappear and to be replaced by a new one (built with elements)?

Thanks and regards,
Peter

Hi there,

was the old image added before Elements?
If so in Appearance > Elements you should see the Legacy Hooks tab at the top of the screen.
Let me know.

Hi David,

yes, the old image was added before Elements (in 2019)

in German menu it says DESIGN - ELEMENTS and then on top only Dashboard - Elements - Page Library (Seitenbibliothek) - Support - Documentation. I don't find any Legacy Hooks tab.

Just to confirm, this is still the old image?

The code shows that it's added as a WP image block which isn't possible with the legacy hook.

Are you sure it's not added using a block element?

yes, the image was loaded up on 31. Okt. 2019 at 12:07 and used since that time as general header picture.

I'm seeing an odd class attached to that image.

Can you disable all plugins except GP Premium to test?

Please start a staging site if this is a live site with traffic.

Thanks!

I just did a complete backup with updraft. I stop working with the page now (it's late in Germany), so you are free to do necessary changes at the live site. Let me know about the results :-)

I just did a complete backup with updraft.

Thank you :)

Can you still do this part for me?

Can you disable all plugins except GP Premium to test?

Thanks!

ok, done

I really found the culprit by re-activating plugin by plugin. Next time I know how to handle such a mistake. Many thanks for your patience and your help - great job.

No problem :)
