    Hi,

This where I am today with my current theme:
    https://snipboard.io/DvFK4G.jpg
This where I am today with GP -willing to switch to GP:
    https://snipboard.io/qgHafx.jpg

So, I would like to know how it’s possible to have with GP on mobile on all shop archives:
    – on the left a hamburger leading to products filters (per color, material, …)
    – on the right, a “sort icon” (like 2 vertical arrows in opposite directions), leading -on click- to WC default sorting (newer to older, etc.)
Those 2 icons being above the products archives.
Those 2 icons leading to off-canvas menu / widget, whatever you call that

    Waiting for your feedback
    Kind regards

    Hi there,

As of right now, GP doesn’t have these options.

They’re both something we’re exploring in a GP Premium update in the near future.

Right now, you can add widgets to the Off-Canvas Panel: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/off-canvas-panel-overview/

If you want to go that route, we can show you how to add a toggle for it above your products.

    Let us know ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi Tom,

You know like me that the 2 most important things for users are speed and findability.
    http://www.awwwards.org/brainfood-mobile-performance-vol3.pdf

60% if my visits are now made from a mobile phone. When you have a good store and write interesting “papers” (rather than blog), it’s impossible to have a clear menu with only 1 off-canvas panel … it’s like on any software, the right click has to be contextual. All the more the screen is small.

Indeed, it is proving incredibly hard to find a theme which is clean coded AND UX-nice on mobile FOR store + “blog”.

Btw, to help my decision, I made tests this morning on my intro page, which is really pretty complex. My current themeforest theme on this page made with Wp bakery, vs GP + GB. Really took me many hours to learn and replicate the same layout, but if you’d like to have those results (google page speed, GT metrix, pageboost, pingdom, ….) let me know.

    Kind regards
    Polina

I agree that it would be a very nice feature to have in the theme, which is why we’ll be exploring it ASAP ๐Ÿ™‚
