Off Canvas sub-menus not displaying & no dropdown arrow
8 replies · Started by Marcel on March 25, 2020
I have setup submenus on my Primary Navigation. In desktop mode, the submenus work.
But when I use the Off Canvas (mobile only) with the Primary Navigation menu, there are no submenu indicators, nor do the submenus show.
This is what CSS seems to work:
#generate-slideout-menu.main-navigation ul ul { display: contents}
#generate-slideout-menu .sub-menu li {padding-left:2em}
Hi there,
thats odd - and not how the Off Canvas and sub menus are meant to work - if you want to remove the CSS and let me take a look i am more than happy to do so. Let me know
Thank you, I have removed that code from my css now. You'll see that the submenus on the slidebar are now hidden.
I believe that's because you are using a menu widget.
Can you try assigning a menu to the off canvas panel instead?

Let me know :)
Well, I mean, now that you tell me, that's obvious. Thank you very much!!
No problem :)
Hi, Leo!
About this topic, any way to assign two menus on off canvas menu?
For example, I would create two menus inside Off Canva: First to main navigation and a second menu to wocommerce products categories.
Thank you!
Can you open a new topic for the question?
Thanks :)
