off canvas: image first

Hello there,

This is just a tiny issue, more of an optical nature: I would like to have the settings for off-canvas (style = slide, for mobiles only) to be such that the sliding menu shows an image first, followed by the navigation. It is the exact opposite now and I do not know how to change it.

I've tried the off-canvas widget instead: this indeed allows me to put the image first, but then there is very little navigation line spacing, making the menu harder to read and more difficult to click on. If you would care to have a try at http://www.myberlin.nl you will see what I mean.

Thanks a lot!

Hi there,

1. Create a new Block Element:

https://docs.generatepress.com/article/block-element-overview/

2. Add an Image Block to the content.
3. Set the Hook to: inside_slideout_navigation
4. Set the Display Rules to Entire Site.

If your not using the Block Editor then you can use the Hook Element instead. Apply the same above - but use some HTML to display your Image.

Dear David,

Perfect, you guys are awesome. Many thanks!

Regards,

Leo

Glad to be of help
