Off canvas burger background color - transparent

Hey there ,

I would like to make this off canvas burger background transparent but it seemsnot to work, have tried custom css and everything , but as transparent it takes a whitesmoke color or something like this.

i have created a header with elements with merged option, i like this burger background to be transparent so the hero image to be displayed fine.

am i missing something ?
