Odd Post redirect issue

we did some importing of posts and seem to have an off redirect issue i can not solve. cleared cache and re saves permalink structures. client was using a redirection plugin so i disabled that for testing as well still no luck
if you click read more for TREPAT it goes to xerel-lo
for GRECHETTO it goes to /glera/
MOST read more links go to a a different/wrong link.
also why do the read more links have #more-54354 (some random number? it seems oddd)
any ideas?

if i deactivate the redirection plugin the links dont work right, if i re-activate the plugin they do, doesnt make any sense to me?!
