Occasional conflict with Broadstreet plugin

I use an ad service called Broadstreet, and they have a plugin that gives me more direct control of the ads on my site. That plugin seems to be conflicting with my site, but not all the time, only certain posts.

For example, I posted this today:
https://www.thelansingjournal.com/news/2020/08/07/armed-offender-apprehended-by-lansing-police/
My right sidebar has been pushed below the post, and my "Leave a comment" text is now appearing in the right sidebar. When I deactivate the Broadstreet plugin, things go back to normal.

Earlier this week, I posted this article:
https://www.thelansingjournal.com/news/2020/08/06/honor-flight-chicago-recognizes-veterans-who-wont-get-to-fly-this-year/
The same sidebar issues happened, but I was able to fix it by removing some text from the top of the post that I was using as a caption for the featured image. I don't know why that worked, but it did.

I've also emailed Broadstreet to see what insight they can offer, but I thought I'd check here as well. It's weird that a plugin conflict would affect only random posts.

Hi there,

I checked the two pages above but don't see the issue.

I doubt the issue is related to the theme if it's only happening on some posts though.

Let's hear what the plugin support say first?

Oh, sorry. I actually deactivated the plugin again while I was talking to Broadstreet, and then I got called away and didn't reactivate it. So that's why you weren't seeing the issue. I turned it back on for now. Broadstreet has forwarded the info to their dev team, so we'll see what they can deduce.

Sounds good.

Let's see what they say.
