[Resolved] “Nothing Found” Search Results page displaying oddly

Hi –
I am having a weird error, my “Nothing Found” results page is pulling the featured image and title of a random old blog post. Any idea how to turn this off? I don’t need more than the regular copy, but i can’t figure out why pieces of this one post are coming through.

I can turn the secondary hero off for this page to make the title go away, but that still seems odd!

The title/image of the post on the nothing found page doesn’t change, no matter what search term I try.

Hi there,

Any chance you can disable all plugins except GP Premium to eliminate conflicts from other plugins first?

Make sure to activate the parent theme if you are using a child theme as well.

Oh jeez — forgot there is some legacy code in the function file that’s sending external news posts away — it’s reading the empty search as a “no post” redirect link. Why its pulling the post its pulling, whoooo knows.
