StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
This should help: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/merging-the-page-header-site-header/
You can set the navigation background in Customizer > Colors > Primary Navigation

Not sure what you mean?
Did you try changing the navigation background color in Customizer > Colors > Primary Navigation?

Yes i did
when site loads i have a grey header (see image is prev. post)
when i scroll down then header turns transparent, Thats ok but i also want the main header when site loads to be Semi transparent like the divi example image in my 1st postJune 7, 2017 at 7:59 am #329893Leo
StaffCustomer SupportCan you provide a link to your site?
I was able to complete this: https://postimg.org/image/uk5ccq7xv/3202c307/
By uploading an image in the page header meta box, turn on Add background image in page header content, then turn on merge with site header in page header advanced, then change the background color in Customizer > Colors > Primary Navigation.Documentation: http://docs.generatepress.com/

StaffCustomer SupportHere is the image: http://demo.generatepress.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/table.jpg
Not sure what you mean by making this work without an image? Then there is no point merging the navigation or having transparent navigation?
