Hi Tom,
When I browse through the individual posts I notice that not all posts are visible.
Very odd…
Example website: weblink click the next/previous and not all posts are visible. The categories “nieuws” and “projecten” has a lot more posts: news posts and projects posts
Thanks!

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperSo when using the Next/Previous links, you feel it’s skipping posts?

Yes Tom, that’s the problem.
For example, start with this: test site
And then go to the next post.
When you e.g. click on a category you see there are a lot more posts.Oh, the site is in Dutch but I hope you understand. “Volgende=next and Vorige=Previous” 🙂

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperWhat do you have set as your permalink structure in “Settings > Permalinks”?

Ah yes Tom, I changed that bit due to a tip from Yoast. It is set to: /%category%/%postname%/ instead of what I use to do /%postname%/

I changed the permalink structure and checked again but same problem.
But, I noticed something. The posts I created with plug-in Bulk Creator are not visible with browsing next/previous. But how to solve that, I don’t know.
I added a post manually and that is visible. So it’s not a big problem but when you have an idea, great because I use the bulk creator often.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperInteresting – have you asked the developer of that plugin if they’ve ever experienced this issue before?

Hi Tom, have done that now (see this site).
When I have a reply I will let you know.Thanks.

Tom, I tried another plug-in (Quick Bulk Post & Page Creator) and it has the same issues. Maybe it is a “generatepress” single post issue?
Thanks!July 3, 2015 at 8:37 am #118433Tom
Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHmm, well we’re not using custom GP functions, we’re using core WordPress functions: previous_post_link() and next_post_link().
It’s like these plugins are adding the post, but not letting parts of WP know that they exist.
Anything back from the initial developer?
