Hello, I’ve been wrecking my brain trying to figure out why the blog content layout is not allowing me to make any changes. I have a blog in a category attached to my primary menu and Im utilizing generate blocks. Can you please help me figure out what Im doing wrong? Id really like to have my blog show in a category on my primary menu with just the blog title, featured image, and a small excerpt.

StaffCustomer SupportI’m not sure I understand your question, are you trying to add this single post as the
Buying guide
menu item’s sub-menu?September 16, 2022 at 10:48 am #2345159Daniel

StaffCustomer SupportThis link is a single post: https://webhappyhealth.com/top-five-prostate-supplements-that-are-proven-to-work/
And this link is a category archive: https://mensgardening.com/gardening/
They can not be compared, so which layout are you wanting to change? The single post or the achieve?
Let me know!

StaffCustomer SupportI want to change my single post to the category archive?
Sorry but this sentence just doesn’t make sense, I still don’t understand what you are trying to do.
Your current category archive page looks like this:
https://www.screencast.com/t/Cs5Y4PTdlWWSo are you trying to change the current archive layout to this layout https://mensgardening.com/gardening/?

When you click on buying guides in my primary menu I want it to look like the category archive and not the entire post. Im not even sure how you got to my category archive. Excuse my ignorance Im trying to figure it all out and its a little confusing.

StaffCustomer SupportThe buying guides menu item is linked to the single post, can you go to appearance > menus, and check what’s the setting for that menu item?
Maybe take a screenshot and upload it to https://postimages.org/ and share the link with us.

Ying, how do I add my latest post to a two column grid to display at the bottom of my homepage and resize each grid to fit perfectly in the center inside of a container? Should I use elements to do it with the block editor? Whats the best way to do it?
September 17, 2022 at 12:20 pm #2346024Ying
StaffCustomer SupportYou homepage is a static page, you don’t need a block element for that.
You can add a query loop block from GenerateBlocks directly to the homepage editor.

Wow, thank you so much, Ying that was precisely what I needed!
