[Resolved] No Read More Label Settings Available

Hi.

I got Generate Press with all Add-Ons and the Mantle child theme, runs in German.
When I activate the Generate Blog the “read more label” changes to English.

You write in https://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/generate-blog/
Read More Label: At the end of your excerpt you’ll see a link saying “read more…” when you click this it will take you to your full post. You can change this to say whatever you like. example: keep reading.. continue reading..

I know, the Blog settings are only available on Posts.
But the Blog Content setting allow only to switch “date” “autor” “catogory” and “tags” on or off.

If I deactivate Generate Blog I get the orginal German text “weiterlesen”.

What to do?

Ah, I think I know the issue.

I have it so the read more label setting only displays if the content is set to “excerpt”. This is my fault, I forgot about the read more link when the more tag is being used in the post.

For now, set the blog content to “Excerpt” and change the label – then switch it back to Full.

I’ll get this fixed for the next version 🙂

No, got it, it works now.
I was allways just looking at a single post.

If you display a single post, these settings are not available at all.
Only if you display the news page!

Ah yea, new feature. Options only appear if they will do something on the page you’re viewing.

Hi,

I’m using the Marketer theme on my German website. When I use the search feature at the top right of the main menu it takes me to a search results page where there are “Read More” buttons. In English rather than German.

Where can I customize the text and the color of these buttons?
