[Resolved] No option to change site from blog to static page in Settings/Reading panel.

Title says it all. Managed this easily before but option no longer showing. Compared it with other sites and they seem identical set up.

Hi David,
haven’t ‘published’ this subdomain yet. Haven’t tried to publish a page yet as I wanted to get all the ‘customising’ done 1st – unless I have to produce and publish a page (it’ll appear as a blog) before I can customise.

WP needs there to be a published page or the option won’t display.

OK-thanks David. This isn’t ready to publish yet – the pages are still in (very) draft form. Just to confirm then – I can’t make it a static site (as opposed to blog) until it’s published.
