[Resolved] No Index Blog Category

Dear Team,

When using AHREF I get the following error message back.

ERROR: Noindex page

Pages impacted:

https://www.ihrcoachinginstitut.de/category/blog/page/2/

I don’t understand the problem.

Any advice?

Hi there,

so you have a noindex meta tag on those pages.
Its most likely a setting in your Yoast SEO plugin, see here:

Yoast says: “It is the standard stetting for categories no to be indexed”

They recommend using the canonical URL of my BLOG for it:
https://www.ihrcoachinginstitut.de/blog-coaching-training-frankfurt/

What is your advice? You have the last say.

The Canonical URL makes sense.
And Yoast are the SEO experts, so I would follow there advice 🙂
