I read the “Mobile logo breaks https” forum post but it didn’t help.
I developed a site locally and then recently uploaded it.
I made sure to put https in the settings on the live site.
    https://www.fayfoto.com
I have a logo graphic in my header.
I don’t get the secure padlock icon. I looked at it in Chrome, and the Dev Tools console complains that a resource is being requested over http
When I view source, that png resource IS https for desktop but is http for mobile!

I have tried deleting and re-uploading that resource.
I have tried doing the same (in the customizer interface) with tablet and phone views.
I have cleared my browser cache and the auto optimizer plugin cache.
    Nothing seems to change.

    Any thoughts?

So you’ve re-uploaded the image in Customize > Layout > Header? Once you do that, try clearing your caching plugin to make sure the HTML updates.

Oh. Thanks for the tip. No, I had initially put the logo in Customize > Site Identity > Logo
That worked for desktop but I couldn’t get it to update for mobile.
Didn’t occur to me to set that in Layout > Header since it seemed to work fine in Site Identity.
All good now I think, still not clear on why I would need to do something essentially the same in two places, and I guess I would have caught it sooner if I could figure out how to test on mobile when developing locally. :-/
Anyway. Thanks for the tip. I didn’t pick up on the nuance of the Customize path the first time I read your reply so went about clearing cache and so forth to no avail. Read your reply more carefully and now we’re cooking!
    Thank you.

    Glad that worked!

There’s two places as you can add a completely different header just for mobile 🙂
