[Resolved] No excerpt in WP Show Posts while in Gutenberg Block

Hi Guys,

I’m having a problem with showing excerpt in WP Show Posts. When a text is within a normal paragraph there is no problem. On the other hand when I put the same paragraph inside a section (I’m using Ultimate Addons for Gutenberg) WPSP doesn’t see that.

Is there a way to solve that problem apart from manually adding an excerpt?

Hi there,

Sounds like that plugin is doing something ‘weird’ in the way it outputs its content.

Have you tried using GenerateBlocks instead:

I wish I knew it existed sooner… Tried and it’s working perfectly!

Would you suggest to rebuild other pages with GenerateBlocks?
