Theme installs and Activates OK … Please help!
Thank you in advance.March 18, 2015 at 5:05 pm #88389TomLead DeveloperLead Developer
Are you using GP Premium? If so, are you sure you’ve enabled your desired add-ons in “Appearance > GeneratePress”?
Let me know 🙂March 18, 2015 at 5:12 pm #88391Roy Cohen
Yes. I have since deleted both GP-Premium and the theme and removed all child themes from the site.
Full disclosure: I imported six json settings from my test site during the first install.
A fresh reinstall still yields the same – the only thing that appears in the “You Are Customizing” dropdown is the text “The Customizer allows you to preview changes to your site before publishing them. You can also navigate to different pages on your site to preview them.”
Everything is showing as active…March 18, 2015 at 5:14 pm #88392TomLead DeveloperLead Developer
Weird, can you possibly send me temporary admin login details to firstname.lastname@example.org so I can see for myself? Usually the quickest way to fix stuff 🙂March 18, 2015 at 5:18 pm #88394Roy Cohen
Done.March 18, 2015 at 5:18 pm #88395TomLead DeveloperLead Developer
Interesting, can you try increasing your memory limit?: http://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/increasing-memory-limit/March 18, 2015 at 5:26 pm #88396Roy Cohen
It was set at 128M
fwiw I am sending you separately the entire contents of that file.March 18, 2015 at 5:32 pm #88397TomLead DeveloperLead Developer
Damn, that always works lol
Can you turn WP_DEBUG (further down the file) to “true”.
Then go to the Customizer and see if there’s any errors showing up.March 18, 2015 at 5:38 pm #88398Roy Cohen
I’ve turned the debug to true but I don’t see any errors on the pages themselves. Unfortunately i cannot easily get to the logs on the server…March 18, 2015 at 5:49 pm #88399TomLead DeveloperLead Developer
Time to deactivate each plugin you have installed (not GP Premium).
Deactivate one, check the Customizer and repeat.
This will show us if it’s another plugin behaving badly.March 18, 2015 at 5:52 pm #88401Roy Cohen
ok. i started to do that earlier by deactivating the security plugin. i will report back shortly!March 18, 2015 at 5:53 pm #88402Roy Cohen
