Hi support,
On a page with a lot of text I want to use <!--nextpage--> so that the user can click to the next page. But apparently it does not work.
Is it a theme issue?

Thanks!
Damiaan.

Hi Damiaan,

There are two dashes in the call: <!--nextpage-->

Hi Tom, yes of course I was missing a few dashes.
But I tried that and it still does not work on a page. I can send you login details, the site is still in maintenance.

Sure, you can use the contact form on this site to contact me :)

Ah, you're using Sections.

This kind of functionality won't work in Sections unfortunately. The next page is generated dynamically by WordPress, and WordPress doesn't know to put it inside a section/what that section would look like.

You would have to use a regular page to use this feature.

Hi Tom,
I cannot switch back to normal layout instead of sections, because of the design of the site.
Is there a different solution with a plug-in or code?
The purpose is to show e.g. 10 lines of text and when the visitor wants to read further they can go to the next bit of text.
I could use a "spoiler" plug-in but maybe you have another idea.

Thanks!

I think a spoiler plugin is probably your best bet.
