[Support request] next / previous post links do not match the next post title

Hello there, i have kind of a strange error happening on my site running the GP theme. I have added next / previous links to my single.php file and for some reason the post title does not match the permalink in some instances. It seems as if the title remains in the same category of posts but the permalink switches out. thus making a mis match.

this is an example of the error.

title: next big thing! check it out
permalink: https://mysite.com/crypto-is-hot-right-now

This doesnt happen for every post but it does happen sometimes. I set up the next/prevvious links as suggested in the wordpress docs but for some reason it is bugged.

Any suggestions? this is the first time i have ever ran into this problem and the exception is this theme. So i am reaching out!

Is there any reason you’re adding your own next/prev links instead of using the core GP links?
