News feed is appearing before content of a static page

Hello. We were using Woothemes Canvas for http://www.derekandromaine.com. But support stopped 2 years ago and the site has ... gotten into trouble with hackers. So we installed GeneratePress, which we use for http://www.dnrstudios.com and http://www.dnrtravel.com. However our web person highly customized it for these two sites. I tried exporting from dnrstudios.com (in the generate press section) and then importing to derekandromaine.com, but it looks like I have a lot of tweaking to get done, due to site build around the original canvas.
But off the top of my head, here are my two questions:
1) We have two menus, the Primary and the Secondary. The secondary we wanted as a horizontal menu across the top, ideally for logged in users. But I can't figure out how to do that. Currently it's appearing for all users, as a left vertical menu.
2) Probably more important, the http://www.derekandromaine.com/account page, is displaying the (very long) news feed, before the actual Page content of the Account page. I'm not sure how to stop that? Other pages have the same issue. If you scroll to the bottom of the news feed, then you'll see the actual Account page content.

We kept working at our issues, and we got through some things, implemented some work-arounds, and maybe caused some more issues in the process. Ugh...
Right now at http://www.derekandromaine.com, the site is functioning. But the latest problem, is all of our primary navigation landing pages (ie: http://www.derekandromaine.com/account, http://www.derekandromaine.com/live, etc) were showing "Nothing Found" on the page, instead of the page contents, which is largely driven by Paid Membership Pro.
But we noticed that pages UNDER a parent such as DNR Live Show > DNR Meta Player, would display the correct content. It's bizzare.
Our work-around, was to put ALL pages so they are ALL under the "www.derekandromaine.com/home" page. Now the correct content appears.
But we don't want all our URL's to have /home/account or /home/live etc.
Any thoughts/recommendations? Please let us know how to get rid of our /home/ work-around.
I see. It might be a permalink issue.
Can you try rebuilding your permalinks? Just go to Settings > Permalinks in your admin dashboard, and hit save. No changes needed. Just saving should rebuild the permalink structure.

I already tried that, switching to a different link structure, saving, checking (no change), changing back and saving (no change). It's not a permalink issue.
I agree with Fernando that it sounds like a permalink issue and would recommend checking with your hosting support.
I highly doubt that it's a theme issue - you can test this by activating a Twenty series WP theme.
