Hi there,

Unfortunately, this isn’t something we can help with as the user role is a WP core feature and it’s unrelated to the theme.

I would recommend Googling “adding new user default role wordpress” as I see quite a few discussions on it.

If that doesn’t help, then you can try opening a topic in a WP general forum like Stack:
