New Theme installation

Dear Team,
I want to install a new theme for my existing website.
The theme name is 'Service' by Mike Oliver from the Generatepress site library.
My question is:
What are the pre-requisites to change and install a new theme?
Will the installation of a new theme impact my existing content structure?
The content is created using block editor and generate blocks and some of the content is created using the SiteOrigin page builder plugin.

Hi there,
We typically only recommend importing a site library template to fresh install without any existing content.
If you need to import it to an existin site, here is what I would do:
- Start a new staging site
- Duplicate the existing site to the staging site.
- Import Service in the staging site.
- Make the necessary tweaks before duplicating it back to the live site.

Hi there,
Staging sites are something that your Host will provide - if you ask them i am sure they will walk you through the process or do it for you - most hosts now offer this as a one click function.
