New SIte Not Connecting

I have about 5 sites on a server, all connecting just fine with my license key.

However, I am installing a new site, and the license key keeps timing out, and modules will not install.

The DNS (other than some random MX and TXT records related to email) are the same across all sites.

I have added the site domain to my GP account.

The .htaccess records are all the same across sites.

I also tried manually adding the license key option in my database as the option gen_premium_license_key

Please advise.

I just moved my site from Cloudflare to the actual host (HOst4Geeks) and now I am getting the error:

403 Forbidden. Your server is not able to communicate with generatepress.com in order to activate your license key.

Please help.

I tried all of those things. Can you make sure my IP address is not blocked by you?

I'm getting this error in my debug log:

[01-Jun-2022 17:24:26 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined variable: license_data in [my path] wp-content/plugins/gp-premium/inc/class-rest.php on line 254
[01-Jun-2022 17:24:26 UTC] PHP Notice: Trying to get property 'license' of non-object in [my path] /wp-content/plugins/gp-premium/inc/class-rest.php on line 254

Debug log attached

Hi there,

Can you try now?

Let us know :)

No, it is still not working.

I even tried switching from the child theme to the main Generatepress theme. I tried turning the maintenance mode off too.

I spoke with the host, and they have opened up your IP address, and I do not think the problem is on their end.

Im wondering if /plugins/gp-premium/inc/class-rest.php somehow doesn't work with WP 6.0.

I can tell you that the license key works fine on my localhost with WP 6.0.

Does GP require wp-cron.php to work?

I believe the WordPress update system itself requires wp-cron.php to work.

Are you getting a different error now when you try debugging like you did above?

I'm still getting the error

403 Forbidden. Your server is not able to communicate with generatepress.com in order to activate your license key.

What causes this? Your server or my host's server?

Also did you ever whitelist my IP address?

Can you give it a shot now?

Let me know :)

Well, I'm not getting the 403 error (and Not receiving premium updates). on this specific site, but at least one of my sites which are on this same IP address and linked in the same GP account are still not working.

Also, the Update Key button is just hanging with no resolution, and so is the page:

/wp-admin/themes.php?page=generatepress-library

So is this a different domain? If the one you originally reported working now?

On the page that is hanging, is there anything in the console log (right click + Inspect > Console)?
