New image block - caption style

Hi,
I"m confused about the new image block and the way captions work.
Previously this all worked fine, just insert an image and I could define the image caption size site-wide with the .wp-block-image figcaption css setting.
Since the uodate adding a caption seems to create a separate Heading type that does not follow the general settings, neither the .wp-block-image figcaption css setting. Once created, it also seems impossible to select the caption option again, neither the caption itself. Impossible to change whatsoever, the caption (on newly created image occurences only) remains in the same style as the body text.
Update: I found that I can change the caption style with dynamic data. But that seems to suppose a manual change for every single image which is not very practical. There should be a way to define this site-wide no?
Can you enlighten this please?
Hi there,
that is the GenerateBlocks Image Block.
it like all GB blocks has its own set of controls.
But it should only really be used when you need to break from the styles of the core Image Block
If you find the core image block does what you need it to, then keep using it :)
In regards to the GB Image Block > Caption, if you have trouble selecting it then use the List View navigation, the figcaption is a separate Headline block.
