Hello. I have installed GP on https://massage4.life. Can someone please tell me how to reproduce the heading I have now in the Beaver Builder theme in GP?
Thanks in advance,
MH

This should give you that look: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/navigation-logo/#navigation-as-header
Let me know.
July 9, 2017 at 7:22 pm #346719MitchellThanks. Any advice for editing the color of the background?
Thanks,

July 9, 2017 at 7:26 pm #346721LeoStaffCustomer SupportShould be Customizer > Colors > Primary Navigation > Background
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/colors-overview/July 10, 2017 at 4:08 am #346884MitchellHello again. Man, I looked carefully and not only is there not a setting for “Customizer > Colors > Primary Navigation > Background” there doesn’t appear to be any way that I can see to actually set the background of the heading to pink as I have it now on https://massage4.life.
If I cannot get the header the same way I cannot use the theme. Please advise.
Regards,
MH

Upon viewing the page source of your site, I see that you are not using GeneratePress as your theme. It shows that the site is using the Beaver Builder Child theme, which would explain why you cannot find the settings in the Customizer that Leo mentioned.
You should perhaps contact Beaver Builder for support on this issue π
Cheers!
LyleJuly 10, 2017 at 4:31 am #346896MitchellYou know, I am not an idiot. I switched back to the BB child theme when I could not edit the GP to menu background.
I can switch back if you want but there is not setting for menu background that I can see.

July 10, 2017 at 4:40 am #346901LyleYou did not mention that you had switched themes π
To change the Primary Navigation background when you have GP-Premium installed and correctly activated:
Dashboard > Customize > Colors > Primary Navigation > all the nav color items are set here π
Keep in mind that you have to have the Colors option activated in Dashboard > Appearance > GeneratePress > Colors = Active for this to appear in the Customizer.
July 10, 2017 at 5:04 am #346913MitchellThanks. The issue was with activating everything. How can I remove the name of the page “Home Page III” from the top of the page?

July 10, 2017 at 5:14 am #346919MitchellAlso, how can I make the image at the top display in full width?
Thanks,
MH
July 10, 2017 at 8:14 am #347022LeoStaffCustomer SupportYou can disable Content Title using the disable element metabox:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/disable-elements-overview/As for the full width image, since you are using BB you’d have to do it within the plugin.
July 10, 2017 at 8:28 am #347032MitchellHmm, the image is already setup to be full screen when using the Beaver Builder theme. Why would I have to change the image to use with GP?

July 10, 2017 at 9:03 am #347066MitchellThat seems to have solved the issue. Thanks so much for all of your assistance.
