new categories not available

hello guys, i recently created some new categories but i dont see them on right panel when i'm creating new post or editing the old post. when other categories are listed the new ones i created recently are missing. If i go back to all post and i select the quick edit option, the new categories are always available and i can add the posts i created to the new categories but once i select edit post option or i create a new post the new categories are missing.
