My site is totally SSL encrypted except for the favicon. When I place it in the appearance/customize/site identity it is making it http instead of https. It seems all of my media files are defaulting to http instead of https. How can I fix this?

Make sure your URLs in “Setting > General” are both set to https. WordPress uses those URLs to serve files from the Media Library.
Yea, I ended up getting a plugin that fixed it all as well as adjusting the site url. Thanks Tom.
Yes, with SSL its often necessary to install a plugin like “Really Simple SSL”. https://wordpress.org/plugins/really-simple-ssl/
