Need Help With Homepage Layout

Hello Need some help as I am very new to Generate Press. I want to display the posts as masonry layout for my homepage. The problem is the sidebar appears in the homepage and it takes up 25% of the space which I don't want. I want the 3 columns with 3 blog posts per row and no sidebar to appear on the homepage. Also if possible can I display 3 posts per row based on a specific category?
Hello again, so read through some of the documentation. I added the Lightweight Grid Columns plugin. Created a page added a section and entered the grid. How do I add blog posts to the grid?

If so I would recommend trying Tom's WP Show Posts: https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/wp-show-posts/
