Need help with creating Pop Up window.

I'd like to have a pop up window appear on my page only after someone clicks on a certain link. So, if someone clicks on the link, I want a pop up image to appear instead of taking the person to a whole new page. Can you tell me how that's done. Do I need a certain plug in? Thanks.

Yup a plugin is required. I haven't used one before but there are quite a few out there if you google "Popup window WordPress".
