Thanks Leo for your reply, I would also to change the upper part of my website ( theoutdoorlovers.com ), it does not look appealing at all. I would like to insert a narrower Top bar with the search icon in it, then a nice picture, and another bar just under the picture with the menu in it…..then below all this…4-6 little blocks(Pictures) for my categories….then after those category blocks….6 or 9 latest posts blocks….this is what I would like to create…. can you help me on this please…..thanks Leo…..Eric

Alright.

1. Set the Navigation Location of the Primary Navigation to float right.
2. Enable Navigation Search in Appearance > Customize > Layout > Primary Navigation.
3. Set the Navigation Location of the Secondary Navigation to below header.

Where do you want the picture to appear? Do you want it under these navigations or in the middle of them?

quick question – how does the layout look for mobile ?

The orange band(which is the Top Bar) is way too large especially on the mobile screen but the articles seem to be well centered….Eric

1. Set the Navigation Location of the Primary Navigation to above header.
2. Go to Appearance > Customize > Background Images > Header. Set a background image.
