Hi!

I have been using GP on my blog since 2015 and I love it <https://dhamma.saticomm.ca>. Now I am in the process of writing a book that will show work in progress and allowing logged in subscribers to comment the different chapters. Is it possible to have a comments section that will only show on a specific book page and only show the comments pertaining to the page and not the whole website.

The book pages will be visible to all, but commenting only allowed to subscribers.

Thanks,
Pierre

Hi there,

The comment system is entirely handled by WordPress.

You can Allow comments on a specific page using the option in the right sidebar menu in the Gutenberg editor:

Let me know if this helps :)

Hi Leo.

It works and indicates that one must be logged in in order to post comments. I saw a GP tutorial that indicates how we can create a Login and a Register button in the navigation bar, using hooks or blocks. It seemed quite simple. I am trying to recover the video but I can't find it. Are there instructions on how I can generate this kind of button?

You guys are great!

Many thanks,
Pierre
