Need a modal triggered by button in header

Looking for recommendations:
I have a button on my header (placed there via a Hook Element), that I want to trigger a modal popup, containing a form, from any page of the site.
(I probably want the same button in my foooter too, but that's not critical.)
What would be a good way to do this? I'm not opposed to using another vendor's plugin, but I'd like to avoid adding too many more. I currently use GP Pro and GB, and am willing to go to GB Pro as well, if necessary.

Sorry, but there's no functionality in GP or GB that would allow you to do as such.
You would need a third party plugin or a custom code.
