Necessary plugins

Hello, I use Ezoic and they are telling me that the GP premium plugin and generate blocks plugins are affecting my site speed. I was wondering if I needed both of these plugins permanently or whether either can be deactivated after installation or when certain features need to be added or updated.

Hi Aaron,
GP Premium and GenerateBlocks are both optimized for performance - if you are using the options or blocks from those plugin then they would need to remain activated.
To be honest, we've rarely encountered good experiences with Ezoic in this forum.
I'm very surprised they would say this about GP and GB and don't believe it's true.
You can test any of our site library templates here as they are all using GP Premium and GenerateBlocks (most of them) - they should all have excellent performance without any optimization plugins etc:
