Navigation Search (enabled) disappeared

I try to customize the navigation search with some additional CSS, with no success, and after I deleted all the additional CSS the navigation search disappeared, it's still enabled (>primary navigation >navigation search "Enable")
Hi Matthias,
When I active the parent theme, the navigation search appears.
Can you try disabling all your custom functions in your child theme to see which function is causing the issue?

OMG, I'm so sorry.
I totally forgot that I did try to customize the nav-search with some PHP code in the child theme, it didn't work and I forgot all about it :-(
