Hello,
I’m trying to have my logo to the left of my Primary Navigation Menu, but it keeps going underneath it.
“Navigation Logo
Uploading a navigation logo will place it inside your navigation to the left of your menu items.”
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/sticky-navigation/Customising ▸ Layout Primary Navigation
* Mobile Menu Label : Menu (OK)
* Navigation Width : Contained (I don’t know what to do)
* Inner Navigation Width : Contained (I don’t know what to do)
* Navigation Location : Above Header (OK)
* Navigation Alignment : Right (that doesn’t change anything)
* Navigation Search : Disabled (otherwise I can’t access the menu on a mobile)
* Sticky Navigation : Both
* Navigation Logo : YES : 135 × 115 (Is it too big?)
* Navigation Logo Position : Static
* Slidout Navigation : Disable
* Primary Menu Items
* * Left/rigt Spacing : 0
* * Height : 115
* * Sub-Menu Item Height : 10Thanks for your help,
Véronique

Are you wanting the logo to the left of the Primary Navigation like this site currently has?
If so try the following step:
– Upload logo in Customizer > Site Identity
– Layout > Primary Navigation > Navigation Location > Float Right
– Layout > Primary Navigation > Navigation Logo Position > StickyLet me know if this is what you wanted.
February 28, 2017 at 8:56 am #285096EricYes, that’s what I want. I think I’ve tried this. I’ll try it again, and let you know.
Actually, the issue has probably something to do with Max Mega Menu…
February 28, 2017 at 9:03 am #285099LeoStaffCustomer Supportah yes Max Mega Menu will take over GP navigation/mobile navigation.
Let me know 🙂
February 28, 2017 at 9:32 am #285134Ericwell, that’s better.
I changed the div.site-logo and had it float left,
.site-logo {
float: left;
}
and add some left and right padding to the .inside-header classThough, now, sorry to say, but the menu is clearly too much on the right.
I’d prefer if it was more on the left, closer to the logo…
if you have an another idea…..
February 28, 2017 at 9:34 am #285136LeoStaffCustomer SupportYou could try Layout > Primary Navigation > Navigation Width/Inner Navigation Width > Contained.
Let me know if that’s the look you wanted.
February 28, 2017 at 11:59 am #285216Ericnope… it just doesn’t seem to be possible 🙁
February 28, 2017 at 12:07 pm #285229LeoStaffCustomer SupportSorry I’m a little confused what the question is now…is this the site you are referring to? http://quatrepiliers.com/wordpress/
Are you talking about the normal primary navigation or sticky navigation?
March 1, 2017 at 1:06 am #285469EricHello,
I don’t really care if it’s sticky or not (though a sticky menu would be better).
What I would like is something like this :
1.
This is what I have when :
Layout / Navigation location is : Below header
and the Logo is uploaded via Site Identity / LogoThe good thing is that the Panel of the Submenu is widely opened.
The Bad Thing is that I would prefer the menu to be (floating left to ) next to the logo like on my first image.2. And this is what I obtain with :
Layout / Navigation location is : Float left
and the Logo is uploaded via Site Identity / Logo
http://quatrepiliers.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/01-03-2017-09-58-39-1.jpg
The Submenu Panel is not wide enough (same with Float right)I have tried many other things.
March 1, 2017 at 5:35 am #285579LeoStaffCustomer Support1. This site is just using Navigation Location to Float Right as I mentioned above.
2. Hmm unfortunately GP cannot control the Submenu width since mega menu takes control over the layout. Perhaps Try changing the entire Container Width wider in Customizer > Layout > Container?
Let me know if this helps 🙂
September 19, 2020 at 9:14 am #1450092BrittHey Leo,
If I do this:
– Upload logo in Customizer > Site Identity
– Layout > Primary Navigation > Navigation Location > Float Right
– Layout > Primary Navigation > Navigation Logo Position > StickyAt de 2nd step my navigation is completely gone… And I don’t have the option for logo position. Even though I have the premium version.
Hope you can help!

Things have changed a lot regarding this since 2017.
Thanks!
