Hi.

My website is http://alchemyclix.com

How do I
1. add padding/margin to the navigation so that it is centered with my logo?
2. bring up my header, etc. so there isn't as much white space?
3. make my favicon (site icon) to stand out? I just want the "AC" section, and it is impossible to make out on a tab. I've tried multiple colors for backgrounds, etc.

I have a couple design opinions, please.
1. Do you think the site looks boring? Would you have a black background with white text, etc.?
2. How would you "jazz up" the "industries" section?

Any and all comments are truly appreciated.

Best regards!
Dana

Hi there,

1. Try this CSS and adjust the px number:

.main-navigation {
    margin-top: 20px;
}

Adding CSS: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adding-css/

2. You can remove header padding here:

The main problem is that you have a lot of space below your logo so cropping it out should help:

3. You would need to play around with colors - keep in mind that people customize their colors to have different colors. I find the GP favicon on this site works well.

We don't usually provide opinions designs as it's all personal opinion. I usually just find a site I like and try to copy their styles.

Awesome! Thanks, Leo! :-)

No problem :)
