Hello, my question is pertaining to the navigation drop-down. Do you create the page and then use a post/posts as a drop-down or the other way around? Can you use pages as navigation and pages as dropdowns? I hope this is written right.

I look forward to your response.

    thanks,

    JERRY

    Hi Jerry,

I’m not sure I fully understand your question, if you want navigation like this:

    - Parent menu item
       - child menu item 1
       - child menu item 2
       - child menu item 3

It’s better to use the custom links for the parent menu item and use # as its link.
So even when you click on the parent menu item, it will only open the submenu, and won’t direct you to other pages.

For the child menu item, they can be anything you want, pages/posts/custom links/categories/tags…

Great is there a video or reference to perform these steps?

I was wanting the parent company to have all services in the main navigation. Then have child menus up under if that’s possible.

    Hi Jerry,

Here’s a short screen recording for reference on how to create menus: https://share.getcloudapp.com/X6uQWEW6
