    Hello,
The theme was working perfectly for a while. I was updating some content on my site (joepurnell.com) and all the sudden it started behaving unusually. The main page displays properly, but now when you navigate to any of the other pages using the menus the page doesn’t render properly. The menu navigation options are not shown unless you mouse over them. Any idea what could be causing this issue?

    Thanks in advance,
    Joe

    Hi Joe,

It looks like the unsemantic framework (the CSS framework behind the theme) isn’t being loaded on those pages.

Do you have any plugins installed? Can you try deactivating them and see if that fixes the issue? If so, activate each plugin one by one until the problem plugin is found.

Let me know what you find out 🙂

    Hi Tom,
Thanks for the quick response. I disabled all plugins except GP Premium. Still having the same issue. No improvement.

Bizarre.. It seems your homepage is running GeneratePress 1.2.3 (latest version), and the other pages are still trying to run 1.2.2 (old version).

Does your hosting do any caching?

My host has confirmed that they do not do any caching on their end.

Well that’s super weird.. WordPress can’t run two versions of the same theme on the same install.

If at all possible, can you email me a temp admin login to support@generatepress.com so I can take a look?

This was a caching issue caused by the WordFence plugin.

I had to go to “Settings > Permalinks” and re-save your options, which rebuilt your .htaccess file.

    All fixed now.

    Thanks!
