I am wondering if theirs a fix for my navigation menu bar. What’s happening is under 1200px the navigation drops down under main bar.
I have recorded a video clip of what I mean ;
Is their a way to have it so that instead of the navigation breaking down, the text just shrinks to fit ?
Not sure I am explaining myself well but, hopefully I have lol.GeneratePress 2.1.2GP Premium 1.6.2June 16, 2018 at 1:17 pm #601693LeoStaffCustomer Support
I think the best way would be to increase the mobile navigation break point so it switches to toggle before it breaks up:
Let me know if this helps.June 16, 2018 at 1:49 pm #601707silver
Thank you, that worked well..I noticed before when I viewed via my laptop it was breaking so this fixes it nicely 🙂
One more question about the navigation bar..
I have a drop-down on one of the menu titles and was wondering if it’s possible that when you click anywhere along that bar it could show the drop-down menu, as it is now theirs a small arrow that you have to hit pretty close too, to initiate the drop-down menu.
Included another video for clarity as I rarely explain anything perfectly lol.June 16, 2018 at 8:02 pm #601799LeoStaffCustomer Support
The parent menu item needs to be a custom link:

Thank you Leo, will this now get indexed in google with the hashtag?
The URL of that parent menu now looks like http://www.mywebsite.com#June 16, 2018 at 9:40 pm #601834LeoStaffCustomer SupportJune 16, 2018 at 9:45 pm #601838silver
I followed the link you gave Leo,
I added a # in the parent item then saved, (still showing as just a # there).. my worry is when I click the parent item it’s showing the hashtag like the example I gave above, this could be seen by google as another page and it could get indexed which isn’t very good.
Not sure though if it’s indexable.June 16, 2018 at 9:59 pm #601846LeoStaffCustomer SupportJune 16, 2018 at 10:09 pm #601853silver

Using Click – Menu Item would solve that issue:
Unfortunately you cannot set one for desktop and one for mobile.June 17, 2018 at 2:11 pm #602246silver
Ok thanks, Leo,
I think I’ll just have to compromise and go without the hashtag and it be a little more tricky for users to click the arrow because I do believe they would be considered additional pages.
That worked perfectly for both Mobile and desktop 🙂
Thank you for the help and your time 🙂June 18, 2018 at 10:05 am #602842
