So resulting in having to scroll horizontally slightly to view the search icon. Just wondering if the search icon would be better placed in the slide out menu on mobiles? Thanks Richie August 21, 2016 at 7:03 pm #220237 TomLead Developer Lead Developer Hi Richie, That doesn’t sound right, can you link me to your site? August 21, 2016 at 7:04 pm #220238 richpags Hey Tom, Hope things are well. No worries. reelmovieposters.com.au Cheers Richie August 21, 2016 at 7:05 pm #220239 TomLead Developer Lead Developer Is this not what you’re seeing?: http://screencast.com/t/LwAL5teGO7R August 21, 2016 at 7:08 pm #220240 richpags Tom, If I scroll down the page, the nav icon gets moved over the screen a little. Could a container size issue? Thanks Richie August 21, 2016 at 7:09 pm #220242 TomLead Developer Lead Developer I would try updating to the latest version of GP Premium. August 21, 2016 at 7:12 pm #220244 richpags Tom, Yep I updated to the latest today. 1.2.67 Maybe its because I changed the container size. Not sure. Thanks Richie August 21, 2016 at 7:13 pm #220245 TomLead Developer Lead Developer The latest is 1.2.89 – are you not seeing that in your Dashboard? Try manually updating: https://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/updating-add-ons/#manual-update August 21, 2016 at 8:10 pm #220249 richpags Tom, Yep there was an update which I performed around 2hrs ago. The plugin area is most likely displaying the wrong version. Richie. August 21, 2016 at 8:14 pm #220250 TomLead Developer Lead Developer I don’t think so, I’m noticing certain functionality that has been improved in recent versions. Try the manual update and make sure your license key is added in “Appearance > GeneratePress”. August 21, 2016 at 8:22 pm #220252 richpags Tom, Looks like my key wasn’t active looking under my account. There’s no area to input my key in the customize area though. Richie August 21, 2016 at 8:23 pm #220253 TomLead Developer Lead Developer Most likely because you’re using an old version where we were using emails to activate. If you manually update to the latest version, you’ll see a place to put your license key and you’ll be able to keep up to date through the Dashboard from now on. August 21, 2016 at 8:30 pm #220254 richpags Tom, Uploading the new zip is via the new plugins area correct. Don’t want to remove the current GP and lose all mt settings. Thanks Richie August 21, 2016 at 8:34 pm #220255 TomLead Developer Lead Developer You won’t lose any settings. When WordPress updates plugins it first removes the old one and then uploads the new one. You’re doing the same thing, just manually. If you’re worried, take a quick database backup – it’s never a bad thing to do either way. August 21, 2016 at 8:41 pm #220260 richpags Tom, Ok cool. That went fine. Looks like I am on the latest now. 1.2.89 You’re the man! The update to the latest version fixed the issue. Thanks heaps mate. Probably in my head, but the site seems a little quicker.
