Nav Menu, Logo and tagline not showing in single post hero

Hi there,
I am sure this is me but I am having a problem with my single post hero (default for all of my posts) element. It does display the featured image to the far right of the header when viewing the post, taking up about 20% of the header width. However, the rest of the header is just black and does not show the nav menu or my logo or my tagline. Can you please help?
Thanks so much.
Rachel
Hi there,
Any chance you can link us to the site in question?
You can use the private information field:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-the-premium-support-forum/#private-information
Let me know :)
Sure thing-I'll add it in the private support field.
Not sure if I fully understand.
What is the expected result here?
Hi Leo-I want users to still be able to see the site name, logo, and most importantly, navigation menu from the individual posts. The way it is set up now, the area that I think should have name/logo/nav is just a black box.
So would this page hero show up below the header and menu?
Or you are looking to create something like this?

Hi Leo-I think the transparent header and navigation setup as shown in your video is what I am looking for. The problem is the video seems to start one step ahead of where I am. The video starts out showing the site name and nav menu, but I just have an empty black box in that area.
Hi Rachel,
The first part is creating the a Block Element - Page hero.
I recommend reading this brief guide on making one -

Let us know if you have any specific questions or if there's any part that's unclear. :D
