Nav entry appears as button

Howdy,
I just built my navigation, and set the Use Navigation as Header option. Upon doing that the on-hover and drop-down nav entries now behave as a button, with rounded corners.
How do I remove that button behavior in the nav-as-header config?

GP doesn't add border-radius for menu items by default.
I did notice another issue that might be related. Are you using a child theme?

Ooof! The wp_enqueue_style portion was in my child theme's functions.php
